We currently have a 2003 Benetau 331 available for Bareboat Charter. It's equipped with; roller furling
headsail, in mast furling mainsail, single lever for motor control, depth gauge, VHF and,
wind instrumentation.
The vetting process is simple:
- Candidate must be ASA 104 certified, (ASA Bareboat Charter Level).
- Must pass a short written exam dealing with conditions frequently experienced in the regional area waters.
- Review of sailing resume. Should include coastal waters. Occasional small inland lake ventures is not sufficient experience to deal with local conditions.
- The interview with checkout captain must be satisfactory. If not, a licensed captain must accompany the charterer until the chartering party is competent.
