A deposit of 50% of the course fee is required to secure the booking of a sailing course. The balance is due 30 days prior to the course start date. Reservations made within 30 days of the course date require full payment. Payment is accepted by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, (thru PayPal or POS), cashier's check, money order, wire transfer or any other mutually agreed upon form of payment.
Reservation: To reserve a class more than 30 days in advance, 50% of the tuition is required. 100% of the tuition is due 30 days prior to first day of class.
If you cancel a reservation you have made with us, the deposit and course fees are non-refundable however they may be applied to another course or date, for a period of one year from the original booking.
1. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of booking a 100% refund will be issued.
2. The school may cancel a class or outing for any reason, eg hurricane. The same policy applies, no refund, you must reschedule your event or class with us.
Learn to Sail Texas will make every effort to follow any published itinerary, but variances may occur due factors beyond our control. If Learn to Sail Texas cancels a course we will make every effort to re-schedule your class within one year of the original purchase date. However, we have no further liability. This policy is similar to many schools and not unlike the common airline cancellation policies.
Should you need to leave the course before its completion, for any reason, no refunds or adjustments can be made for any unused portion of the course.Travel Insurance
If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the departure date no refunds will be issued. For this reason, the purchase of travel insurance, which covers cancellation due to medical reasons, default and/or airline strike, weather, etc. (please see policy for details), is strongly recommended. If you choose to not purchase travel insurance, you are assuming any financial loss associated with your travel arrangements.Certification of Health
Student certifies that he or she does not have any condition or disability that would create a hazard or hardship for other persons participating in the program and the student understands that health care standards, facilities and services at sea may be different or inadequate for treatment of certain health conditions. Learn to Sail Texas makes no representations or warranties and disclaims any made regarding special accommodations or handicap accessibility on any program. Learn to Sail Texas reserves the right to decline accepting or retaining any student whose health, attitude or actions, in sole judgment of Learn to Sail Texas, impede the operation of a trip or the safety and welfare or enjoyment of classmates.Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and any other documents required by applicable government regulations. Non-US residents may require special travel documents. Check with your local embassy or consulate.Cookies
