Learn to Sail Texas - Sailboat Deliveries

We have been sailing keelboats and catamarans in the Gulf of Mexico since the early 90's. If you need assistance in delivering your vessel, sail or power, to a new port, give us an opportunity to bid on the delivery.

Most sailboat deliveries require an additional crew member or two. I have many students which will crew for free just to get the offshore experience. Terms are simple and reasonable, but the actual cost is dependent on a variety of factors; type of boat, selected route etc. We try to avoid the ditch since traveling it at night, is at best, very hazardous to sailboats. An open water delivery is usually the safest and most economical route for sailboat and crew. The vessel should have a recent favorable survey.

The rate schedule is simple. My day rate is $350.00 for boats 46' and under. If crew is required it is an additional $100 per day plus all other expenses. On many occasions a previous sailing student of mine will crew free to gain offshore experience. This savings is passed on to you. In addition to the day rates, associated expenses e.g. travel, food, insurance, slips etc are the responsibility of the owner.
